For me, fashion and art are a way of life. My hope is to share my love for the two through creative collaboration with my clients. I have executed timeless pieces for myself and for friends for as long as I can remember, ultimately leading me to open my own small business. How I Work
TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
This generally takes place over the phone; many of my clients are referred to me via word of mouth; through web browsing; and/or social media.
Images of my clients' inspirations are exchanged, allowing me to determine the clients personality and preferences. I carefully consider my client's budget, which enables me to determine the best suggestions; fabrication; and sourcing - prior to a first meeting and measurement.
I do require a commitment to a maximum of 3 fittings with the client.
Time is always of essence and I value both mine and my client's, without having to compromise a good fit.
First Consultation and Measurement
Precise measurements are taken in during this appointment.
Swatches and/or fabric suggestions are discussed and project budget agreed with my client.
A fifty (50%) percent down payment is due upon signing of agreement; many of my fabrics are imported and takes at least 2 weeks or as much as 4 weeks delivery.
It is also my custom to request that my client wear or bring her ideal footwear and the foundation/s she expects to wear for the dress. The proper undergarments not only help make an amazing dress, they also keep our posture in check.
Toile - The First Fitting
toile - /twäl/ - noun: an early version of a finished garment made up in cheap material so that the design can be tested and perfected.

A mock version of the agreed design is fitted and fine tuned to the clients exact fit. Its a fail-safe step to ensure no mistakes are made in cutting the actual fabric.

The Second Fitting

This will be the first time, the client will see the dress prior to its submission.
All final tweaking and fine tuning of fit and design element placements are finalized.
Final Fitting and Submission
All t's crossed to the clients' satisfaction.

Balance due upon submission.
